Norfolk County&#8217;s population as of 2006 was 62,563.<\/p><p>Port Dover is the fastest growing community in Norfolk County with approximately 6,000 year &#8217;round residents. Significant current residential construction and approved future development plans project that this healthy growth will continue through 2020. In addition, development of support services for our growing community are ongoing and active. A new medical centre has recently been announced.\u00a0<\/p><p>It is estimated that Port Dover&#8217;s population more than doubles during the summer season with the influx of boaters, cottagers, trailer parks and vacationers.
